Why “Furkid”?

 

At CMC Dog Training, we believe in dogs being more than just a dog. For this family-founded and operated business: dogs are social members of the family, not something to be thrown into a backyard or crate and forgotten about. 

 

This is where the term “furkid” comes in; we treat them like children. Children still need supervision, structure, discipline as well as play, attention, love, and care. Emphasis on love and attention here at CMC.

 

Furkids are intelligent thinking beings so our goal is for them to want to follow commands enthusiastically while finding confidence and fun in their journey to learn new things with their people.
